Snack & Lunch & Dinner

I had a Balance Bar on the way home from the grocery store today. Ahhh my grocery store is a terrible, terrible place. People run into your cart and don’t even say anything. No one says excuse me. They just run you out of the way. Oh horrible place. I used to love grocery shopping. I need to find a different time to go or something because I HATE it.

Anyway, I tried to go to the gym today. I drove all the way downtown and my garage was closed because of the Steeler game. AH. Oh well. So I drove back home and I’m glad I did because my stomach was upset all afternoon. I didn’t eat much lunch because of that but now I’m feeling a little better.

I ate some pita chips around lunch time and 1/2 cup of oatmeal with cinnamon. Stomach friendly. No picture of the oats. Just imagine. A little later on, I snacked on yogurt with some uncooked rolled oats tossed in.

I roasted brussels sprouts and onions with olive oil, salt and pepper for dinner. Brussels sprouts are probably one of my top 5 favorite foods. Seriously. They’re the best ever. I eat about 2 pounds of them every week. A close second would be asparagus. Okay, I’m about to eat another banana. Goodnight!

Sunday Breakfast

Newly expanded blog content begins today.

I normally make something involving eggs for breakfast on the weekend. Weekdays, it’s oatmeal almost invariably. After watching CBS Sunday Morning, I made eggs with onion, yellow pepper, and grape tomatoes. I used 1 whole egg and 1 egg white, 1/3 of an onion, 1/2 of a yellow pepper and about 8 grape tomatoes. I topped it off with some Sriracha sauce. I add it to everything. Spicey. I also had a banana.
