AHH

Ahhh I’m having internet troubles. That’s why it’s 8:47 PM and I still haven’t posted. Ugh. I started reading Wasted also which is making me wonder about my obsession with food documentation. AH. What a day. I can’t wait for it to be over. Work wasn’t even that bad. It was kind of busy but quiet around the office because everyone was out at a meeting except for like 4 of us. It should have been calm and relaxing but it wasn’t. I was feeling anxious and annoyed and I still am. Whoa is me!

Alright I’m done complaining for the moment. Time to show you what I ate.

First off, look at all of the food stuffs that I lug to work on almost a daily basis. I also have to bring in my personal can opener because we don’t have an office one.

I had oatmeal for breakfast again this morning but I changed it up a bit. I was inspired by another blogger and stole her idea of mixing in canned pumpkin. It was delicious. So delicious in fact that I had it again this evening after regular dinner. That scoop of pumpkin was 300% of my daily Vitamin A requirement!

And coffee:

Around 10 this morning, I had these:img_04942 Various items in the background include contact solution, Lindt Truffles and a stress relief baseball.

Lunch was a big debate. We were given a company credit card to purchase lunch for ourselves.

Problem #1, Coworker A and I are vegetarianish
Problem #2: Coworker B and Coworker C wanted salads with real chicken unlike the Au Bon fake stuff
Problem #3: Sub Med does not take credit cards
Problem #4: We were supposed to order pizza so it had to remain on the cheap side
Problem #5: We finally decided on Buon Giorno, ordered and the credit card was declined.

LOL

Coworker B put it on her personal credit card and will submit an expense report.
Problem Solved.

I got a Portabella and Ricotta salad. It was SO good. It included the mushrooms, ricotta, roasted yellow peppers, artichokes, marinated tomatoes, and green peppers. It was amazingly good.

I didn’t eat the entire thing but I ate all of the good parts and just left some lettuce.

Around 4, I had some yogurt.

I went to the gym after work and it was super annoyingly crowded. I did the treadclimber for about 25 minutes until it BROKE. It just stopped working and I got an error message. What the hell? I stood there pushing buttons for a bit then gave up and wandered away. Every machine that I normally use was taken so I ventured to the giant machine that is like a mini staircase. I’ve seen people use it before. There are two. You get to tower over everyone because it’s so tall. I climbed on and started stepping. Oh my gosh. That is the hardest machine in the world. I was dieing. I had to stare at my feet so that I wouldn’t fall off. The girl next to me was studying anatomy.. Anyway, I climbed 42 floors and then climbed off. I could barely make it up the stairs to leave.

I got home starving of course and made this wrap (baby romaine, spinach, honey mustard, avocado, red bell pepper, banana pepper, red onion and grape tomatoes):

Amazingly, it shut.

Then I had a baked sweet potato (not pictured). Then I had the pumpkin oatmeal (also not pictured). I actually did take pictures of both but I don’t feel like getting up and probably losing my internet connection to fetch the camera. So, sorry. What I could do is sneak in the old picture of the sweet potato I had last week or whenever but I won’t do that.

Whoa what a rambling blog post. This blog has become quite the outlet for me. I like it.

Oh also, I put out my trash tonight instead of last night. Hope hope hope that garbage day was delayed a day this week because of the holiday.

Ohh one more thing. I got a Lois Lowry book out of the library today because I loved The Giver. Please don’t tell me about any religious connotations either because I just don’t care.
It was in the teen section.

Oh I also noticed that my dates are all wrong for previous posts. Unless otherwise noted, the foods I post on a specific day were actually consumed that day. I’ll try to correct this.

Goodnight!

I’m tired.

Dinner was a whole bunch of randomness. I wish I could just make a normal meal when I’m alone and eat it and be done but I don’t ever do that. When I’m alone for dinner I make something, then something else, then something else and it’s all completely random. I guess that’s not a problem but something about it bothers me.

Here’s what I ate:

The leftover fish from Sunday:

The remaining frozen brussels sprouts and butternut squash and I added onion this time:

A bowl of Kashi 7 Grain Puffs with oats:

Then I made hard-boiled eggs;

Look at those sad, pathetic cracked eggs. I’m not sure what happened in the boiling process but they didn’t fair too well. I ate three of the five little deformities — just the whites — with honey mustard and hot sauce.

Now consider all of those food items mixed together in your stomach in a fairly short amount of time. It’s not a good thing. I need to work on the solo regular meal.

On another note, I’ve been in the mood to go to the movies. I haven’t been to the theatre to see a movie since Prince Caspian came out. I wanted to see Twilight but never got around to it. Don’t even make fun. I read all of the books and you should too. Seriously. Don’t judge until after you’ve read. On that note, I’m really bothered by the fact that I don’t have a book to read tonight. I’m looking at my bookshelf considering what I might want to reread. It’s not looking promising. Oh well.

I want to discuss this potential True Spies dinner party also. Fun! What’s the theme going to be??

That’s all for tonight.

Easy Day

I could not sleep last night. AH. I tried to go to bed around 11 but gave up by 11:30 and read until I finished my book around 1 AM. I think I fell asleep shortly after that. I wasn’t very tired this morning though so I guess I just didn’t need much sleep. I had a training class ALL day today at work so I didn’t get a chance to stop at the library and pick up one of the four books that are waiting for me… This leaves me with nothing to read tonight. Hmm. I suppose I’ll journal instead.

Anyway, done complaining. Hey look! I had oatmeal for breakfast. I also had some coffee in this sweet mug that I found sitting by the sink at work. I wish it could be mine.

During our break, I snacked on a blood orange. I started to peel it then remembered to take a picture but I kind of like the action picture anyway.

For lunch, I had a salad (baby romaine, spinach, red onion, red bell pepper, banana pepper, and grape tomatoes) and some of the remaining cilantro-lime rice. I snacked on that yogurt around 3:30.

I had some tea after lunch.

That’s about all for now. I’m going to make some dinner.
