Ehh

I’m feeling a little down right now and not in the mood for blogging so this is going to be brief.

For dinner, I roasted brussels sprouts, broccoli and butternut squash and I had a La Tortilla Factory whole wheat tortilla. They have 12 grams of fiber! I know it’s not creative but it’s quick and easy and I was hungry. I also ate some more oatmeal with lots of cinnamon and a blood orange (not pictured). Not much else to report on the food front.

I am craving something sweet. I wish I had cake right now. Mmhmm. img_0612

I’m about to go into my room and finish Number the Stars. Either that or I’ll go back to Wasted but I don’t know if I can handle that tonight.

I had a few things that I wanted to talk about but not tonight. Tomorrow maybe.

P.S. I don’t recommend looking at your 401(k) balance for the next 5 years. Seriously, just don’t do it.

Hey it’s Monday.

I’m sitting here watching Jeopardy and very glad to see Matt Kohlstedt back today. He seems like a friendly guy. I do believe there is a category about beer. hmmm. I’ll let you know how I do. Go Matt!

Moving on to the food.

I had oats with corn flakes, pumpkin, cinnamon and a little sugar this morning. I’m sad to report that I forgot to get more pumpkin at the store yesterday so I’m about to run out. No! I also had some coffee. Ohh I also wanted to let you know that I made my oatmeal with the filtered water that we have at work to see how it would be. There was no noticeable difference so…don’t waste your time walking to the supply room like I did.

Around 11, I had some carrot sticks. It’s been awhile since I’ve had carrots. I used to eat them everyday. That used to be my morning snack. I also had a blood orange. My coworker said something like, “Ew what are you eating? Stop reading those vampire books.”

7:11 — Matt is trailing with $2,800. I only got one of the beer clues correct.

Lunch was some more of that Cream of Tomato soup from yesterday. So good but it kind of tastes like spaghetti sauce. I feel like you could just poor it on some spaghetti. That’s not a bad thing. I also had a salad. It had romaine lettuce, green bell pepper, red onion, grape tomatoes, balsamic vinegar and olive oil. SUCKED. I hate romaine. I always buy it and then regret it. It’s too crunchy or something.

Lunch kept me full for..about an hour. By 2, I was hungry again. I ate a yogurt. Notice the new shape of the container. I’m not a fan. They keep tipping over in my refrigerator. I also had some green tea.img_0609img_0607

I decided to go to the gym today because I was feeling pretty energetic. I didn’t pack my running shoes though and only had my Puma’s which have really no support so I was going to the do the elipitical or something. That didn’t go as planned. The gym was packed and the only thing available was a treadmill… Oh well. I jogged/walked on an incline for 30 minutes. I did about 2.75 miles then headed home. OH also, I was hungry by the end of the day and figured I wouldn’t make it through the gym if I didn’t eat something so I stopped at Rite Aid and got one of these.

They have 4 grams of protein and mmm artificial flavors.

I’m starving now. I’m embarrassed to show you what I’m having for dinner.
