I never posted dinner last night. oops.

Hi,
My internet is up and running again!

Let’s get to today. It wasn’t a great day at work today. It was pretty busy which I like but I didn’t feel very well for a good portion of the day. I had my contacts in for a while which irritated my eyes and then I kind of felt like I had the start of a cold during the afternoon. I’m willing it to go away. Mind over body.

So I had pumpkin oats with Twigs for breakfast and some coffee.

Around 11, I had a banana which I did not photograph because I was extremely angry around that time.

Then I had some snap peas and green bell pepper. I must have a bad batch of the peas. They’re terrible.

Lunch was another breakfast burrito wrap but in a spinach tortilla. mmm. Inside there was microwaved egg, arugula, honey mustard and black beans. I dipped it in that soup. Weird? That is the BEST soup. It’s Trader Joe’s Roasted Red Pepper/Tomato. Try it. Seriously. I think I said out loud at lunch, this is the best soup. (I was alone in the cubicle section of the office today so I listened to Q92.9 and talked to myself..

At lunch, I ventured outside to buy a bus pass and basked in the glorious weather (for 10 minutes). I also stopped at the library because one of my Rosetta Stone’s FINALLY came in. I’ve been on hold for a whole year.

Check it out:

Afternoon snack was Greek yogurt with Twigs.

That’s a terrible picture because I’m lazy.

I got home and got ready to go for my run. I was supposed to run 3 miles today. I’m not sure how many I actually did. I’m going to map it. Okay I just mapped the route. You can check it out here. Apparently it was a little over a 5k so that’s perfect. It was 3.22 miles. I would say I walked for umm 1/2 a mile.

I got home and snacked on some melting frozen strawberries while getting dinner together.

Look what I got in the mail!

Roasted veggies, it’s been too long. Dinner:

Plus a spinach wrap + some soup + yogurt (soon).

Tomorrow is Wednesday. I have tons of things to do before Sam and Tony get here Friday. AH. I’m going to do some grocery shopping tomorrow evening. They definitely will not eat what I do so I’m going to stock up on guest type foods i.e. bagels, lunch meat, snacks.

Alright it’s 8 PM. Oh I got a new book from the library too which has started off promising. I’ll let you know about that later. I also joined a food blogger’s book club. LOL.

Arrivederci.

Monday.

Back to regular blogging!

I actually took my laptop to work today planning to blog at lunch but got sidetracked and didn’t get around to it. Let’s go over the day.

I went to bed really early last night and slept well so I was wide awake this morning. I had pumpkin oats with Twigs this morning. I bought ANOTHER box of Twigs. Sorry for the cereal repetition but it is the best cereal.

Banana snack around 11:

And then some not very tasty snap peas and quite tasty red bell pepper:

Our internet was down ALL day at work today. I felt so isolated. It was very weird not to have the internet available. I rely on it very much for work related searches and…the weather.

Lunch was a breakfast burrito type wrap. It had microwaved egg fluff, black beans, honey mustard, arugula and ketchup on an Italian Flat Out. I’m not a huge fan of the Italian Flat Out. The honey whole grain one is much better.

Mostly eaten:

And the inside last night when I was making it:

Alright I’m off to eat dinner and do lots and lots of laundry. Hope everyone had a good Monday! Chuck is on tonight. Yes!

Much Needed Update

I have been absent from the blogging world for 2 days! Oh my! I was having major internet troubles and didn’t feel like hanging in a coffee shop. I also didn’t take pictures of everything I ate either day because it was really random and unplanned. Let’s review the past few days.

Friday

After work, I took a nap and then isolated myself from everyone. I wasn’t in the social mood Friday.

Saturday

I woke up really early (7 AM) and sat around for about an hour and then finally got ready and left with no one definitely plans in mind. I drove to the North Hills and went to Goodwill. Oh it was fun. I got a travel cake container ($2.50) and a Montour High School (my high school) t-shirt ($1.99) from the year that I graduated! Wooo!

After Goodwill, I went to the mall… I figured it wouldn’t be horrible because it was still early. It wasn’t bad. I only went to maybe 3 stores but I did finally buy a new scarf ($11.99). I’ll show you a picture later.

After the mall, I decided to try out Gabriel Brothers. I’ve never been to one but I’ve heard interesting things so I tried it out. Look at the awesome dress ($9.99) I bought (with the new scarf). I also bought a skirt for $5!

I definitely supported the economy Saturday but in a most frugal way.

After that, I stopped at the grocery store to get a few things then decided to go home and drop off everything and eat before going to the gym.

I ate a whole bunch and then decided to try to nap for a bit rather than drink coffee. I napped then got up and went to the gym and ran 3 miles! That’s the longest distance I’ve ever run without stopping. I did it at a 0% incline going 6.4-6.6 mph.

I got home and ate some more, cleaned, showered (again) and got ready for the evening. Andy came over around 8:30, we each had a beer here then headed out to the Brillobox. The show was so much fun! There were tons of people and they did have to stop letting people go upstairs because they ran out of room.

Pictures of my friends’ band:

We stayed for the whole entire show so I didn’t go to bed until LATE plus I had, I don’t know, like 5 drinks. I was hungover this morning. Ugh.

Sunday

HANGOVER. I spent the day recovering. I did go to Trader Joe’s and Giant Eagle across from Trader Joe’s but that’s it. I watched Twilight AGAIN. Oh it’s so good.

I’m trying to think of what else I have to say but I really can’t come up with anything. My brother and sister-in-law are coming to town next weekend and staying here! This means I have lots of things to do this week–clean clean clean.
