I’m wearing a Story of the Year t-shirt.

Happy Friday Everyone!

Man I’m bored. It’s 8:44 PM. I’m not doing much this evening. I’ve gotten into the habit of relaxing on Friday nights. It’s kind of nice but tonight I considered leaving the house until I realized it was RAINING. I didn’t know it was supposed to rain. Oh my oh my Demetrius Ivory. You were MIA this morning.

I’m listening to Bruce Springsteen over here.

I don’t have much to show you or tell you today. I didn’t take pictures of dinner (gasp!) because I got home starving and ate tons of randomness including 2 mini cupcakes. mmm

Breakfast was pumpkin oats with Cascadian Farms boringness.

I also had Friday purchased coffee only filled to there:

1/2 decaf, 1/2 hazelnut

Banana on its last leg. It barely survived the messenger bag transit to work.

Since the office was quiet and empty today, I decided to head to a 45 minute yoga class. I’m SO glad I did. I never regret going to yoga and should probably do it more often. It was intense today. Very, very fast flow through the poses. I worked up a bit of a sweat and then had to change back into my newly dry cleaned dress. :(

After lunch, I stopped at Pita Pit for my babaganoush fix. Delicious. I ate the whole thing plus a Snapple.

Does anyone else really like ping pong?

Now let’s review all of the things that I ate when I got home.

  • Z Bar
  • banana chips
  • 1/4 oats with pumpkin and the last of the cereal (2 boxes down!)
  • leftover pizza
  • 2 mini cupcakes
  • kale chips with ketchup

Now I’m just hanging out on the couch. I think I fell asleep for about 10 minutes during final Jeopardy because I woke up to Wheel of Fortune. Ugh.

    Okay that’s it for tonight.

    Tomorrow the plans include:

  • 3 mile run
  • clean the apartment
  • possibly buy a new outfit(!)
  • pick up a few groceries
  • do laundry
  • to the Brillobox!

    Goodnight all.

  • It’s a long ‘un.

It’s Thursday!! But first — Wednesday Dinner. Andy posted more detail on his blog over here.

Here is my plate — SEITAN Reubens, kale and potatoes:

I only ate half the sandwich and saved the rest. Delicious! I love reubens.

    Here’s Andy:

He was sporting a Steeler’s sweatshirt and I was sporting my Penguin’s sweatshirt. We were full of Pittsburgh pride yesterday.

    Thursday!

    Here are my feet:

I like these shoes and haven’t worn them in a LONG time so I decided to show them off.

    Here is my breakfast:

Pumpkin oats with TWIGS and coffee.

Morning snack was a banana at like 10 AM. I was hungry early.

I had a conference call from 10 to 11 this morning. Ohhhh the boredom. And then I had a TEST on it! They force you to pay attention this way.

After that, the rest of the day went quickly.

Lunch was the other half of my sandwich from yesterday plus I mixed two soups. I had a tiny bit left of the roasted red pepper/tomato soup plus I had 1/2 a can of Nature’s Basket vegetable soup.

I also had the remaining 1/4 of the baked sweet potato from yesterday:

I held it up for you.

The afternoon FLEW by. I had a yogurt snack around 4 PM with lots of cereal on top. I finished the Twigs here plus I added Cascadian Farms O’s plus some dry oats.

I’m going to finish both boxes of cereal this week! Obviously I’ve been holding out on you with some of the handfuls of cereal I’ve grabbed throughout the week.

All of my coworkers are in Bloomfield right now… I called Boss at the end of the day and he said, “I’m in your neighborhood! It’s kind of scary.” lol

After work, I hit up the gym for my 1.5 mile run. I got on the treadmill, warmed up for 5 minutes, ran my 1.5 miles at 6.7 mph (9 minute mile) and then walked on a 5% incline for about 6 minutes then jogged another quarter of a mile then walked some more. I was on the treadmill for a total of 40 minutes and 3.1(?) miles.

I got home and quickly ate a small bowl of pumpkin with cereal and cinnamon (not pictured) and then these strawberries:

    Look at the mutant one.

I then prepared dinner. I had a TJ’s pizza crust in the fridge so I cut it in half and decided to make a thin crust pizza. Sorry Andy! I had pizza night without you. I stretched the half of the crust super thin and covered it with this:

  • sauce
  • grape tomates
  • red onion
  • spinach
  • tiny sprinkle of mozzarella
    img_2143

I also made kale chips and I roasted the remaining 4 brussels sprouts (I ate those before I took the picture).

See how thin the pizza is:

Here is dinner — Thin crust pizza and kale chips with ketchup!

    mmm

    A few hours later

I also ate a tiny serving of pumpkin oatmeal, some yogurt and banana chips.

P.S. I finished the book last night. It was awesome! Read it.

  • Finnmark.

    Hello,

It’s Wednesday! Wednesday is over! Only two more days.

First of all, I vaguely remember getting out of bed last night and eating chocolate covered blueberries. Haha. I woke up this morning and couldn’t remember if that really happened. (It did).

    Anyway…

Sooo I had oats this morning with the tiniest bit of pumpkin (I ran out) and strawberries! They were great though I definitely prefer the pumpkin. Buying some more today…

    Snacks of the morning:

Lunch was 3/4 of a baked sweet potato and a salad. The salad had baby spinach, blue cheese, pepper, red onion, tomatoes, lots of black beans umm olive oil/balsamic vinegar. I packed cooked egg whites to add but forgot.

I had a Hershey’s kiss some time in the afternoon. Nooo picture.

My afternoon snack was Greek yogurt with Twigs!

Alright sorry this has to be short. I’m going to Andy’s for dinner tonight and I have stop at Giant Eagle on the way to pick up dry cleaning (and pumpkin).

    That’s it for now. Bye!
