NO MORE SNOW.

It snowed today! AH. I hate snow. I did take a pretty picture though.

Look I wore the bracelet Sam made me to work today. Pretty! Full of hope like Obama. The little silver thing says hope.

I got to work and made oats with Barney Butter! I also added a tiny bit of pumpkin because I don’t stray far from my roots. Surprisingly, I could definitely taste the Barney Butter. It made these oats GREAT.

Finally a good pear.

And some melted strawberries:

The morning was kind of, sort of busy but I still managed to snack even more. Dry Puffins.

I decided against going outside at all during lunch today. I was pretending it wasn’t snowing and didn’t want to go outside and see what was really going on. Unfortunately, I HAVE A WINDOW in the cube. Cubicle +

Lunch was another giant salad. This time, I used balsamic vinegar and honey mustard for the dressing. Honey mustard in the background.

The afternoon wasn’t so busy. As the week progresses, it’s going to get more and more quiet in the office. Lot’s o’ vacations and things.

Afternoon snack was some TJ’s Greek and Puffins. I’m a cereal junkie.

After work, I gymed it up. I took the T to the gym from my office.. haha. I avoided the outdoors as much as possible today. I got on a treadmill, started my run playlist (which includes Melissa Ethridge) and set off for 3 miles. I warmed up for a quarter of a mile then ran for the whole 3 miles at 6.4-6.9 mph then cooled down for another quarter of a mile or so. It felt good. I did the 6.9 mph for the last half mile.

I got home and put some veggies in the oven and then made some hummus because I had a lemon in the back of the fridge that was withering away. Into the food processor went:

  • 1 can of chickpeas
  • Dash of salt
  • Lots of pepper
  • Juice of 1 whole lemon
  • Tbsp tahini
  • 2 tsp peanut sauce
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Few tsps water

    These things:

    And were dolloped on these:

Then I showered and pulled the veggies out of the oven. We have 1 whole sweet potato, some butternut squash, 1/2 a small onion, a few remaining pieces of broccoli and 8 brussels sprouts. I roasted them at 450 for 13 minutes then flipped and another 13 minutes.

Alright I’m working against the battery life of my laptop right now so I have to go. Maybe more later? We’ll see. I’m going to eat more so there’s a chance.

    NO MORE SNOW.

    BYE.
