Lazy Daze.

Well it’s been a lazy afternoon. I watched the Capitals/Rangers game and snacked the whole time in place of a regular lunch.

I had an apple:

Yogurt & cinnamon on a Flat Out x2:

Are you grossed out by this? It’s amazingly good.

Mozzarella on 1/2 a Flat Out:

Some blackberries (which I put in more yogurt):

I’m pretty sure there was something else… I don’t know.

Around 4:30? I took a long nap. The Bow napped next to me.

Dinner was a salad with:

  • Baby greens
  • Dill relish
  • Mushrooms
  • Red bell pepper
  • Red onion
  • Black beans
  • BEETS
  • Chopped Almonds
  • Balsamic Vinegar
  • Olive oil
  • Hot sauce
  • Peanut sauce
  • Salt & pepper
  • A carrot on the side

It was a good one. I’m about to eat some sweet cereal for dessert.

Now I’m watching 60 minutes. I should do my dishes. ehhhh. I don’t have much to tell you because I didn’t do much. Oh they did an interview with Barbara Kingsolver on the weather channel today! She is the author of Animal Vegetable Miracle. Remember when I said I would blog about it? shhh.

  • SUNday.

87 degrees in these parts again.

Sooo first of all, I had that Chobani Greek yogurt yesterday. I wasn’t a huge fan. I don’t think it’s worth the money. Fage is still best in my opinion amongst the Greek yogurts.

I did eat dinner and a bunch of snacks last night but nothing interesting.

At 8:30 PM, I went to pick up Andy and we met friends at the Cage in Squirrel Hill for an impromptu birthday celebration. Gina is going to be 25 in a few days! Her and Jason are going to Wilkes-Barre next weekend because they’re strange so we had to celebrate last night.

    Here are some pictures:

More people were there but I only took pictures of Gina and Jason… not sure why.

Sooo this morning I woke up and thought about what to do. I decided to go for a run and work more grocery shopping into the trip. All I really bought yesterday was vegetables (as you saw).

Pre-run snack was chocolate PB2 (actually made the correct way) with an apple for dipping. You are supposed to add 1 1/2 tablespoons of water to 2 tablespoons of PB2. As you can see (I think), it comes out with a peanut buttery consistency. Delicious. I’m definitely ordering more. I ate ALL FOUR of my samples already.

I also had some evil coffee:

I put on running clothes and packed my little advantage card and debit card and went outside to find this on my porch swing:

That would be a spoon and a screw driver. Weird. There is also a rubber hamburger in my yard.

So I ran to Trader Joe’s which is 1.9 miles and then back to Giant Eagle which is maybe another mile. I was going to get groceries at Trader Joe’s but didn’t feel like walking the entire two miles back with groceries. I got a bag of groceries at Giant Eagle instead and then walked home.

Snacks during the walk included that 10 calorie Vitamin Water that I secretly love. It tastes like melted blue slush… I also had a chocolate chip Z Bar.

I got home around 10:30, showered and made BOATMEAL with blackberries and cinnamon. mmm.

Now it’s 11:52 and I don’t really have any plans. Relax, read, laundry, sit on the porch swing, nap. Lazy day. I can’t wait.

I have a dentist appointment tomorrow.

    Short Short Short

Hi it’s 8:31 AM. I should not be awake this early. I didn’t go to bed until 1:30 AM last night! Oh my oh my. That’s like 4 hours past my bed time. I fully intend to take a nap today.

Anyway, I just had some of my arch nemisis’ Vanilla Buttercream coffee (sooo good. I just can’t help it) and now I’m off to the grocery store.
