I’ll probably never run 26.2 miles..

Hiii,

Let’s review the weekend…

Yesterday morning, I went to Trader Joe’s and got some groceries. On the way home, I decided to track down the year-round farmer’s market in East Liberty. They didn’t have a lot of stuff but I did get the best asparagus ever and some kale.

The groceries:

I bought this at TJ’s too:

Big thumbs down. It’s not thick and creamy at all… I’ll stick with the Stonyfield plain if I want regular yogurt from now on.

After this and sitting around for a while, I went out for my run. I run.com’ed it and it was 3.48 miles. Then I watched the Penguin’s game. It was a sad one.

I can’t remember what I did the rest of the afternoon…?

Around 9, I opened a bottle of wine:

And had two glasses:

I went to the Brillobox for a show:

And stayed the whole time. I didn’t get back until 1:30 AM or so. Hmm. This didn’t bode well for my getting up early to watch the marathoners.

I did wake up around…10 and took a bunch of pictures.

It was so great to watch the runners! It was very motivating. When they were passing me, they were on mile 23 so they were almost done. I loved watching and it made me want to run a marathon. That probably won’t happen.. but still. I wandered Liberty for about an hour and a half then came back home and ate some breakfast. I sat around a ton — reading and napping — and then woke up around 5 and went for another run. I think I ran around 2.5 miles. I’m not really sure.

Oh highlight of the race was seeing Jim Krenn run by and some dude next to me saying, “Was that Jimmy from DVE?” in a great Pittsburgh accent.

Ummm then I went to Giant Eagle to get a few more unable to get at TJ’s things. Now it’s 8:46 PM! I’m going to read the newspaper and relax. Good Evening.
