Food Should Taste Good Review Time!
Last week, I brought in a bunch of different flavors of Food Should Taste Good tortilla chips for the lovely coworkers to taste. Big thanks to Food Should Tast Good for sending me samples!
I set out the following flavors with post-it notes for voting purposes.
I had high hopes for the sweet potato flavor:

Another shot of the taste testing:

I got many comments from the coworkers. Everyone asked where you could buy them and how much they are. They also asked why they are different than other tortilla chips. Everyone seemed to think they were healthier tortilla chips.
Folks, if you look at just the straight nutritional values, they’re just like any other chip. However, if you look at the ingredient list, you will see that these are all natural. That’s very important to me. If I’m going to eat a chip, I want the fat and flavor to come from actual food sources. Still, these chips, like any other chip, should be eaten in moderation.
Moving on… everyone loved the potato and chive and the jalapeno. Sweet potato was kind of a let down. It didn’t taste like a sweet potato at all! Olive is great! I also have multigrain at home which is great with salsa!
I’m told that these can be purchased at the Market District stores as well as Whole Foods in the Pittsburgh area. I’m not sure of the cost but I’m guessing you’ll pay a premium for them as compared to regular chips. You can print a $1 off coupon from their website though.
Here are the results:

Tie between Olive and Jalapeno! My vote went to jalapeno. Anyway, these are quite delicious so if you come across them, pick them up!
Very attractive design in the packaging as well.
Poor cinnamon, no votes! Not that I can say I’d like cinnamon tortilla chips either . . .
Yeah the packaging is great. Their website is nicely designed also.
These are on sale at the East End Food Co-op right now…I can’t remember the price, though.
They have a chocolate flavor too…wasn’t too impressed. I did like the Jalepeno.
ehhh I don’t know about chocolate flavored chips. Definitely a thumbs down to cinnamon and I’m a huge cinnamon fan.
