Chris Fennimore in Edgewood?

That’s what Andy says. Hmmm. GET ON TV CHRIS. It’s Saturday morning.

So anyway, I woke up this morning and made coffee and a small serving of oats with cinnamon and pecans before running.

I decided on running at the gym so I got there around 8:15 AM and got on the treadmill. I ran all 4 miles at 6.4 mph except for the last .2 which was run at 6.7 mph. That’s the longest I’ve ever run without stopping. It was kind of grueling toward the end. I don’t let myself look at the distance until my playlist is completely over. Normally, I’m done with my run by the time the playlist ends but this time –11 songs in– I was only at 3.8 miles! I had to get to 4.2 because I walked the first .2 miles for a warm up. Well I finally finished completely covered in sweat but satisfied. I went a total of 4.6 miles with a cool down and burned like 500 calories.

I left there and went to the Strip. I got an iced coffee and then perused the Farmer’s at Firehouse market.

Then I wandered around some and got a few more things. I picked up this bar at Right by Nature because I was starving.

I really wanted a Z Bar but decided to change it up. This was okay. Not really peanut buttery at all but it does have 5 grams of fiber.

I got these herbs at the farmer’s market:

Basil and English thyme

And I got these things:

  • Asparagus
  • Kale
  • Banana pepper
  • Bulk wheat bran (22 cents!)
  • Grape tomatoes
  • Gorgonzola
  • Yogurt

    I got home around 11 and made eggs.

  • 1 small onion
  • 6ish grape tomatoes
  • 1 whole egg, 1 egg white
  • TONS of spinach cooked down to nothingness

    I also ate..a few bites of the new cheese and that yogurt with wheat bran and cinnamon. Time to shower.

  • Rikki Tikki Tembo

    Good Morning.

    I’ve had that (not really a) rhyme stuck in my head all morning. Rikki Tikki Tembo no sarembo chari bari ruchie…

    Anywayyy…

    I’m sitting here drinking some coffee and since the internet is being unusually reliable, I figured I’d upload the pictures on my camera. These are from the last two days I guess. There are breakfasts and lunches and no dinners except for the acorn squash picture. That would be the microwaved acorn squash. After I took it out of the microwave, I added a little bit of butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. It’s so good. There is also an action oatmeal shot — mid stir and one of the TWO frozen coffee drinks I made last night. That was a bad plan but SO good.

    The very last picture is my new tripod! I haven’t used it yet but will in the very near future. It gets taller than that too.

    I’m thinking of running on the treadmill today but I haven’t quite decided. It’s gloomy outside so far and I’m not in the mood for cloudy running. Plus I’m supposed to run 4 miles and I’ve never done that before. I kind of like to test out new distances on the treadmill because it keeps me at a steady pace and I don’t have to stop.

    We will see.

    Going to the strip this morning! I can’t wait. I hope it doesn’t rain today.
