So I guess I’m really not in the mood for blogging right now but I don’t have much else to do and I’m not really tired so here goes…

Okay first of all, right now it’s 11:35 PM. I just got home from the bar with Gina and Jason. It was a good time though the Penguin’s lost plus the bar that we went to kind of sucks. Oh well.

Let’s review the day now. I woke up around 8:30 and sat around until about 9:30 when I drove to the North Hills to buy THESE:

Hey there new running shoes. So I was really excited about getting some pretty running shoes but of course the ones that I liked were white and blue. LAME. Oh well. That’s how it goes. After running in them though, I’ve decided I love them.

I tried on like 9 different pairs. I felt bad for the sale’s person as I left him with a giant pile of boxes.

So I got home and then ate some lunch and took a nap.. I was tired. I woke up and decided to go for a run with the new shoes. Check out the ridiculously messy room:

I also stopped at Target on the way home and found THESE:

Oh my goodness, peanut butter Z Bars!? A dream come true. No. They suuucked.

So anyway, I thought about where I felt like running and what distance and decided I’d go the almost all downhill route to Right by Nature and then bus home. In case you’re wondering how I travel with money and bus pass, here’s how:

So I ran there, got some groceries and bussed back. I love doing that.

Here’s what I got.

  • Kale
  • Swiss chard
  • Asparagus
  • Onions
  • Chocolate Almond Breeze
  • Bananas
  • Yam
  • Lime
  • Red bell pepper
  • 32 cents of wheat bran

    So I picked up this because everyone in blog world LOVES it:

    So I made a frozen coffee drink and added this to the mix. My thoughts? It was delicious. It made it taste like a milk shake. I’m also going to experiment with the breakfast cookie thing I think now that I have some Almond Breeze. I would say, check it out.

    Alright I guess I’m going to get into bed now as there isn’t much to do. Another Penguin’s game tomorrow night. I don’t have much planned for tomorrow so we’ll see.

  • NEW SHOES!

    Good Morning Everyone!

    It’s Saturday morning. I’m watching the Early Show and drinking some coffee that is TOO strong. Oh well.

    So no update yesterday. My meals were really boring and I only took a picture of breakfast which was oatmeal so I’m not posting it.

    I don’t know what happened? He was sitting next to me on the couch and then just freaked out and jumped (claws out) landing on my foot. It bled quite a bit.

    So work went quickly yesterday and then I got home and ate a baked sweet potato and then headed out. I didn’t end up going to bed until like 1:30 am again… Oh well. Fun night.

    Is anyone wondering why I’m being so vague about what I did? Sorry. I suppose I’ll discuss it at some point but for now I’m going to remain elusive.

    So I woke up around 8:30 this morning. I’m excited to go buy new running shoes today!!! I haven’t run since Tuesday because my hip has been hurting but it feels great today. I did a yoga class yesterday at lunch and the pigeon pose really helped I think. I didn’t know of a good stretch for me hip. It was a good class. I’m going to try to go at least once a week. I’m SO sore today though.

    It’s sunny and nice outside. I’m going to get ready then go buy shoes!

    Roasting Everything.

    Good Morning! It’s Friday!

    I slept TEN hours last night!! Oh it was great. I was pretty tired.

    Here is yesterday:

    I think I also had a handful of dry cereal a couple of times throughout the day…

    Then a 1/2 a Pita Pit pita. Why are they so much better than mine?? It’s babaganoush. There is pineapple in there.

    I had some tea also because I was FREEZING:

    I had yogurt with PB2 for a snack at work also.

    I got home and made eggs and also roasted some asparagus and grape tomatoes. I’m experimenting with roasting..everything. I roasted these at 400 degrees for 15 minutes with olive oil and pepper.

    There is asaparagus, tomatoes, 1/2 an onion (cooked in a skillet) with 1 whole egg and one egg white and like 2 cups of baby spinach.

    The roasted tomatoes were GREAT. I see this happening again really soon. I can’t wait until tomato season!

    I also ate oatmeal and strawberries later…

    Okay it’s 6:09 AM. I need to shower now. BYE!
