Monday is over. That is a good feeling. I’m looking forward to the weekend already and I don’t even have any plans. There are a lot of pictures in this post and I only have 16% battery life left so this might be kind of short on the verbage.
I had pumpkin oats for breakfast. I ate the orange and banana around 11 for a snack.

The morning went quickly. Busy busy. Around 1230 I headed outside into the 80 degree weather and wandered over to the Arts Festival. I took some pictures:
Some tents:

Some Elvis impersonators:

Some unhealthy food items:

On the very end, there was one that said VEGETABLES but on closer inspection, it was Fried Vegetables.
I walked around for about 45 minutes and then came back to eat my giant lunch salad.
I was not pleased with this at all.

Afternoon snack was some Brown Cow plain with PB2 and a few multi-grain cherrios (nooo picture).
I got home around 530 and made my first (not really) GREEN SMOOTHIE:
In the blender:

And done:

Okay so it’s not green at all. It’s a little darker than my normal smoothies. You couldn’t taste the spinach at all so try it out blog friends who haven’t already tried this. Pretty much every single food blog that I read makes this. So I totally stole this idea just so you know. Anyway, the point here is GET YOUR VEGGIES.
I then went to Home Depot and bought some pots and some plants and then went to Trader Joe’s and bought some groceries.
THIS POST IS SO BORING. I can’t seem to think of anything interesting to write tonight. Oh well.
So I bought this GIANT bag of potting soil at Home Depot and could barely lift it onto my cart. Luckily the nice Home Depot employees carried it to my car for me!
I made it home, lugged everything to the porch and did my planting. First I’ll show you dinner then the lovely plants that will likely:
Leftover pizza:

And roasted vegetables.
Butternut squash, It’s been too long!
Beta-carotene goodness:

And the plant pictures:
We have a grape tomato plant, thyme, basil, cilantro (plan to make mucha salsa) and the pepper plant that Andy gave me that REFUSES to grow. My neighbors made fun of it today. It’s not dying, it’s just stunted. hmmm.

7% = got to go. BYE!
P.S. Go to the Arts Festival tomorrow at 6 PM and see THIS band and THIS band and THIS one too.
