Good thing you’re up on a hill.

Hello Everyone.

So It’s Wednesday. This week is going pretty quickly and unlike last week, I’m not dreading the weekend. Wooo! I totally slacked in picture taking today but I have a few.

Pumpkin oats with Twigs for breakfast:

That banana was a snack around 10:30 thennnn I ate 3 carrots. I just brought the whole pound bag in unpeeled/uncut. I’ve concluded that peeling organic carrots is unnecessary. I rinse. So what if I eat a bit of dirt. I’m okay with it.

For lunch, I packed yet another veggie/egg white wrap but this time, on top of all of the normal suspects, I added sun-dried tomatoes and peanuts. It was tasty.

The boss ordered pizzas for his birthday:

I didn’t partake but took a picture anyway for some reason.

I snacked on some dry cereal in the afternoon and then TJ’s Greek plain yogurt with some more Twigs and pumpkin.

Sooo I wanted to go for a run after work today. I took the bus home and it looked like it might not rain so I made a green smoothie and changed my clothes and then…it started to rain. I refused to be defeated after I already convinced myself to run so I went to the gym instead. SHOULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS.

Well first of all, I ran 3.25 miles at 6.6 mph then got ready to go home when I noticed the tornado/flood warnings on the news. Hmmm. I sat in my car for about 15 minutes trying to figure out when I should leave. Around 7:30 I left the parking garage and ventured home. IT WAS BAD. Luckily I was heading uphill so I missed the flooding but the rain and wind and lightning was ridiculous. It took me a good while to get home but I made it clenching my steering wheel. I am not a bad weather driver. If it snows at all, I stay home. I’d rather walk. Plus my car is probably the worst car you could ever possibly have for bad weather.

I got home STARVING and microwaved some egg whites and melted a Babybel cheese on top and ate that while my eggplant roasted. All I did with the eggplant was peel stripes down the side (because I place way too much emphasis on food aesthetics ), sliced, drizzled with olive oil, sprinkled with salt and pepper and roasted at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes, flipping once.

With pasta sauce and another Babybel cheese:

Delicious! I also ate a bowl of cereal with almond milk and a banana sliced into it.

Alright it’s already 9 PM. I’m looking forward to reading in bed and listening to the rain.

The movie in the park went out the window today so maybe Sunday evening. Anyone interested? I’m not sure what’s showing and I have no attention span so I’ll probably bug you the entire time but watching a movie outside, what fun!

Goodnight!
