Gym Oh Wins!

Sooo it’s almost Friday and Friday is probably my favorite day of the week. It kind of even beats out the weekend because I’m so excited for the weekend and business is usually slower and more relaxing on Fridays.

Today was okay. It went quickly and I got some things done.

Of course I started out the day with pumpkin oats with Twigs:

Morning snacks were some frozen strawberries and dirty carrots! Look! My radio is back in the office! I had to take it home to listen to some of the Penguin’s games (cableless) but now it’s back. We’ve been jamming …to Bob FM…really quietly.

I decided to take a walk at lunch. I was really awesome and changed my shoes. Dress shirt, skirt, tennis shoes and socks. I am way beyond awesome.

I walked to Right by Nature in the Strip to get some kale and Almond Breeze. They were out of chocolate! What’s going on?? Trader Joe’s was out too. I cried a little.

Since I walked all the way there and back (about 2.25 miles), I was kind of out of time so I didn’t get a chance to make it to Pita Pit so I stopped at Subway. It’s been a long time Subway. Why have I been snubbing you? You’re cheap and veggieful.

Veggie sub with every veggie they have except cucumbers with hot sauce and yellow mustard plus the remainder of that yogurt (about 1/3 cup):

Around 4 I had more yogurt with cinnamon:

I got home around 5:30 and made a smoothie with KALE this time because I’m out of spinach. I was a bit scared. I added maybe 2 big kale leaves, almond breeze, 1/2 a banana, ice cubes and frozen black raspberries.

It made two full glasses. I drank both. It didn’t taste like kale at all!

After this, I considered my options and decided to go for a short run since the weather was so nice and I was antsy because I may have added a bit of coffee into that smoothie…

La Garmin:

It’s female…and French Canadian.

I got home and made a quick tomato salad with my first herb harvest!

The plants are thriving:

The harvest:

The salad:
2 roma tomatoes, 1 small onion, some basil, some cilantro, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper:

And I roasted some kale:

Then I ate a baked sweet potato and some more oatmeal…

That’s about it for now. I don’t know what’s going on this weekend. Gina may get to stalk our high school crush Saturday. I’m SO jealous. Get the title Gina??

Happy almost Friday!
