Finally an update!

Well I fully intended to blog yesterday evening since I skipped Monday but I went somewhere immediately after work and didn’t actually get back to my house until 10:30 PM last night!

Let’s review the last two days. I’m not posting yesterday’s meals because they were really boring and almost exactly the same as Monday…

Sooo Tuesday morning I went for a run. It was a tad chilly outside but once I started running, I was SWEATING like crazy. Humidity I suppose? The Garmin doesn’t like to work very well when I go toward Shadyside (as opposed to toward the Strip) so it didn’t start working until I was about .75 miles into the run.

So this distance +.75:

The run was great. I felt good and was so happy to be out early in the morning. Seriously, running at 5:30 AM is great. I’m going to shut up now before you all start to hate me. LOVE.

I got to work at 8 and had a bowl of pumpkin oats with TONS of Kashi Heart to Heart & a banana:

Plus another banana a little later in the AM.

Monday I lunched with coworkers in the conference room. One of whom brought a PLUOT. A pluot is a plum/apricot hybrid. Coworker said they are AWESOME but don’t really taste like an apricot at all. It seems to be just a very vibrantly colored, extra sweet plum.

Pluot here:

Both Monday and Tuesday, I had a BIG spinach salad for lunch:

There were lots of things in them including artichoke hearts which I love. The dressing was just dijon mustard that was ridiculously spicy and made my eyes water.

If you recall, I like the spice.

Monday dinner was not memorable at all… I can’t remember. Seriously.

Yesterday (Tuesday), Andy and I went for a walk over the bridge to the North Shore at lunch.

There were GEESE:

And bench sitting:

I sit like a lady.

Cubicle neighbor also gave me chocolate which I snacked on in the PM:

I’m not a huge chocolate fan but I am a HUGE peanut butter fan so this was delicious!

I got home and made a really green smoothie.

  • 2 handfuls of spinach
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup Almond Breeze

These are the best. You should try them. Really. Do it. Henceforth, I will call it Salad Smoothie.

Alright, I’m in the library and my Pita Pit pita is sitting next to me begging to be eaten. It’s 1:25! Late lunch. I’m starving.

Ohhh wait. I forgot to talk about yesterday evening. Well I’m going to be vague here BUT New Friend (NF) picked me up from work and we did something interesting. It involved lots of new people, breaking out of my comfort zone and 1/2 a blueberry bagel from Panera! It was a good time and I didn’t get home until 10:30! That’s a long day so I’m looking forward to relaxing at home this evening. NF and I also made plans to hang out on Friday since we both don’t have to work! Excited!

Alright seriously going back to the office now.

    Have a nice afternoon!
