There was squash. There is always squash.

August 30, 2009

I am in love with Ecto. It’s making my posts so much easier. So I managed to successfully publish the wedding post using Ecto and I think I’ve figured it out. Anyway, I figured I’d do a little recap of the last few days minus the wedding because I haven’t been posting very regularly and I have some pictures.

Let’s see…

There were runs Thursday:

Why is that pink??

Friday:

Saturday:

The Bow is creepin’

and a lonnnng one on Sunday (today):
IMG_4141.JPG
That last one was the best! The weather was perfect and I had just woken up from an hour and a half nap… I think I’m fully rested now.
Okay time to backtrack…
Thursday, friend Sarah texted and said she was downtown eating lunch by my building. I stopped over and said hello (and forced them to be blogged):

IMG_4097.JPG

Nothing at work was memorable… After work I stopped at the farmer’s market and got all of this for like $4! Three acorn squash for $1! I was so excited. Oh the grape tomatoes and two jalepenos are from my porch plants. They are in the picture too. I know this because Ecto is amazing and I can actually see the pictures rather than just the HTML. I guess you can do that in WordPress too but I always had problems with it.

IMG_4099.JPG

I ate one of the acorn squash for dinner that night:
IMG_4103.JPG

Cut in half, scoop out seeds, microwave upside down in 1/2 inch water for about 8 minutes. Scoop out the inside, sprinkle with cinnamon and peanut butter and enjoy. Seriously try it with peanut butter and cinnamon. It’s AMAZING.

Work Friday went really well! I made a list in the morning of the things that I needed to accomplish and actually got everything done! I love days like that. It went quickly and then I came home and took a nap for about an hour. It wasn’t really a nap. It was more like … dozing. I think that would be the appropriate word. I woke up, showered and then started making enchiladas for a late dinner. They turned out pretty well. I kind of didn’t follow the recipe at all but I’ll post a link to it anyway. I also made basmati/wild rice with a whole bunch of random spices thrown in. That’s how I roll in the cooking department. Baking is another story entirely. I seriously want a scale so that I can be more accurate with my measurements.

Anyway, Friend who will continue to remain unnamed came over around 9:30 and we ate. I think he liked meatless meal #3. We then proceeded to sit around and talk for hours and I went to bed LATE. Good conversation though. Recipe here.

IMG_4105.JPG
Saturday I was hoping to sleep in because I didn’t go to bed until around 4 AM Friday. I think I woke up around 10 so that wasn’t too bad. I can’t remember what I did in the morning. Hm. I did make eggs for lunch though.
  • 1/4 of a big onion
  • like 3 cups of spinach
  • egg whites
  • salsa on top

IMG_4109.JPG

As I was cooking the eggs, Sarah called and said she was in the neighborhood so she stopped by to show me her new tattoo! We chatted for a bit and then she left and I got ready for the wedding. The wedding was Saturday night so check out that post for the rest of my Saturday.

Hmmm. I don’t remember exactly what time I went to bed last night. I think it was around midnight. I woke up this morning around 9, got dressed and headed to church. I ate a Larabar on the way. They are so ridiculously good. I definitely like the peanut butter cookie flavor better than this one but this one was good also. I like these bars so much because the ingredient lists are so short. This one has dates, almonds & unsweetened cherries. That’s IT! Amazing.

In church they discussed materialism. I definitely have a lot of stuff. I definitely continue to get more stuff. I don’t need so much stuff! I definitely don’t want to rely on my stuff to make me happy. I need to continue to remember that. Sorry for the small, little tangent. I was just thinking about it a lot today.

IMG_4140.JPG

After church, my plans were kind of up in the air. I wanted to run but I was hungry. I wanted to grocery shop but I was lazy. I ended up just embracing Sunday and taking a nap. ha. It was such a good nap though. I can’t stay up late like I used to. Oh mid-twenties!

I eventually did wake up and run. Oh it was the best run ever. I was planning on doing about 5 miles but ended up doing 7! I stopped at two water fountains, one of which was the one inside Giant Eagle. Funny. Soo I think my mileage for the week is somewhere around 22 miles! Wooo!

I mentioned to Andy yesterday that I think I’ve burned off my taste buds or something because nothing tastes good to me unless the flavors are really strong. Let’s blame it on the Sriracha:

IMG_4144.JPG

Okay it’s almost 9 now. I’ve got a few things to do then into bed to read and write!

Goodnight!

But will there be berries??

August 30, 2009

Good Afternoon All!

Happy Sunday! Sooo I downloaded Ecto today. I really have no idea what I’m doing but it seems to be great for those (like me) who don’t have the internet. Basically it’s on offline blog editor that uploads directly to your blog host when you are connected to the internet. It should make my blogging MUCH quicker which will be awesome.

So yesterday (Saturday) I went to a wedding with Andy at Sand Hill Berries. Sand Hill Berries is a berry farm and winery in Westmoreland County(?). It’s about an hour away from Pittsburgh.

I took some pictures as we were approaching the farm. I love farms. I also love being able to now bold text. Oh Ecto you’re going to be awesome I think.

IMG_4110.JPG

Andy driving:

IMG_4111.JPG

Almost to the farm:

IMG_4115.JPG
I like to take pictures of myself:
IMG_4112.JPG

I was wearing heels but packed my flip flops in my purse because according to their wedding blog, they recommended wearing comfortable shoes. Yeah well we had to walk along a gravel path for a while to get to the ceremony site so I did change into flip flops. Look how beautiful the ceremony location was:

IMG_4118.JPG

The couple:

IMG_4119.JPG
The ceremony was pretty short. For music, they had a guy playing an acoustic guitar. I think the procession song was a Beatles song. I can’t remember…
After the ceremony, we all trekked back to the winery area and found a sheep! I made Andy take a picture with the sheep.
IMG_4121.JPG
And me with the sheep:
IMG_4122.JPG
I feel like I should censor that picture. Oh well.
After the ceremony, we had hor d’oeuvres and drinks. I had a glass of really sweet white wine and a few chips from Andy’s plate:
IMG_4123.JPG
IMG_4124.JPG
I don’t remember why I took this picture exactly. I actually took three though for some odd reason. Ah well, close up of Andy for you:

IMG_4127.JPG

After cocktail hour, we wandered up to the reception tent. Please note the guest bathroom tent to the left of the big tent. Yes, there was a porta-pottie in there.

IMG_4128.JPG
Up by the tent, we found a llama!
IMG_4129.JPG
And a mini-pony!
IMG_4130.JPG

We found our table. I was guest because Andy never gave them my name! RSVP procrastinator! I’m one of those people that RSVP’s right away. Mr. Mulkerin is not.

IMG_4132.JPG
Look how lovely:
IMG_4134.JPG

They had a good selection of beer though I didn’t have any. Andy had a couple of these:

IMG_4135.JPG
Supporting Pittsburgh breweries.
We had an interesting bunch of table-mates and it was a good time. Finally food time! My plate included salad that was delicious but I found walnuts in it(!) so I was scared to eat it. There are green beans back there too + potatoes and pasta salad. There were also three different meats to choose from for the meat-eaters. Interestingly, 3 of the 8 people at our table were vegetarians.
IMG_4136.JPG
After eating, they did all of the dances and they played some good music (Neko Case, The Postal Service, Vampire Weekend, JOHN MAYER… etc.). Just a sidenote here: There will be good music at my wedding. I want to have bands play. I mean I have a bunch of friends in bands. Perhaps I will solicit them to play. I wonder how my family will take to that. Funny.
Anyway, the whole day I was looking forward to wedding cake. Once we got up to the tent, I was searching for the cake but couldn’t find it! No! I was concerned. So we ate dinner and there was a giant table of cookies and I was about to resign myself to eating a cookie instead of cake when we saw someone handing out cheesecake!!! Oh glorious turn of events. I ate about half of this. Cheesecake is so rich but delicious.

IMG_4139.JPG

After cheesecake, we hung out for a bit and watched people dancing and talking and then left around 10:30. We didn’t end up slow dancing 8th grade style because the dance floor was tiny and they really only played like one slow song. Oh well. Next wedding that I attend, I’ll do some dancin’.

It was a really nice wedding and the weather turned out to be perfect!

Balance. A post that’s heavy on the text.

August 26, 2009

Hmm. I’ve been thinking a lot about balance lately.

As I get older (quickly hurdling past the quarter century mark), I realize how important balance is to my life. I need to balance work, friends, exercise, healthy eating, faith, reading, writing, learning, etc. etc. Now my life isn’t nearly as busy as some but I still feel like I’m missing out on things. I definitely focus a lot on exercise and healthy eating and sleeping habits. I also do my fair share of socialization though for some reason, I always feel like I need to be doing more of that.

IT’S OKAY TO SPEND TIME ALONE Pamela. I’m sure I’ll more than make up for it later in life.

I spend a good amount of time alone. Even when I was in a relationship, (I’m not in case you’re wondering what with all of these boyz showing up in the blog..), I spent a good deal of time alone. I think it’s very important to be able to rely on yourself for almost everything. Of course social interaction is important and relationships are important but not ALL important. At some point in my life, I guess I’ll grow to be more dependent on someone but right now, I kind of pride myself on being independent and self-reliant. It’s good. I know that I can support myself and live independently.

Anyway, back to the point about things that I’d like to focus on more. I want to focus on new hobbies and meeting new people. Now for those of you who know me well, you know that over the last few months I have been meeting new people and doing different things and that’s good and will likely continue but I’m talking hobbies. Normal hobbies like biking and reading and crafting(?) or something like that.

I want to take up knitting. I’ve been wanting to do that for a LONG time and just never have so very soon I will be purchasing knitting supplies! A fellow blogger, Book a Week Geek, is a big time knitter so perhaps if I get stuck in my self-teaching I’ll ask her for some help. I think this will be a good hobby and it will supply me with winter necessities like mittens (which I love) and homemade gifts for friends!

I would also like to start volunteering my time to something or someone. I haven’t thought about this enough yet but really need to actually make it happen rather than just talk about it. I know that a few of the True Spies were discussing doing a monthly volunteering project but that never got off the ground. We should work on that.

And now a little selfish rant — I should probably try to open myself up to the idea of another relationship (read: boyfriend). I want to be independent and self-reliant but I also want someone to hang out with! Come on. That’s a reasonable request especially due to my lack of family around here and the holidays are coming!

That little paragraph doesn’t sound so independent. We all like a little companionship, yes?

Mmmhm.

Tangents GALORE in this lil’ post.

I guess the point to which I’ve very slowly and indirectly made my way is — It’s good to actually think about what is important to you and what makes you happy and make time to do those things.

BALANCE! It’s a good thing.

And now a quote from this guy:

There is no secret to balance. You just have to feel the waves.

Bittman is my hero.

August 25, 2009

Tuesday.

Hm.

I’m in the library. This week seems to be dragging. My mother called me this morning and I questioned her intentions. I thought there was an agenda behind this. She doesn’t usually call during the week. My dad is probably reading this and will soon report to my mom that I was questioning her call. Ha. I forgot that we hadn’t talked this weekend. We didn’t get to talk long though because she was at work. I was at work too but our work situations are very different.

Annnnyway, I didn’t sleep well again last night. I’m not sure what the problem is. I got into bed nice and early and fell asleep pretty quickly but then I woke up maybe 3 times last night. I normally sleep through the whole night with no problem. I hope this is a temporary problem because I’m looking a little weary today.

So you would think that due to my lack of sleep I wouldn’t have gotten up at 5:30 to run but…I did. It was COLD outside this morning. I had on two shirts.

Here’s the Garmin:
IMG_4091
It was an okay run. The cooler weather makes it much easier.

I ate half a banana when I got back to my house and then had oats with peanut butter and Trader Joe’s Twigs for breakfast:
IMG_4092
This was really good. Really. I don’t know why…

I had another banana in the morning and then a few carrots and then a tuna/spinach/sriracha/mustard/barbecue sauce sandwich on sprouted grain bread:
IMG_4093
Condiments oh condiments. Sriracha bottle #2 doesn’t really stand a chance. I think my taste buds have gotten used to it because it doesn’t seem all that spicy anymore.

And because I have a crazy love for peanut butter, here’s a NY Times article about it: Bittman on peanut butter

Bittman!! I miss On the Road Again. :(

Off to work again.

And all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

August 24, 2009

Another Monday is over!

I’m currently writing this post in my kitchen at the kitchen table. In my case, it’s also the dining room table because I don’t actually have a dining room. I dream of one day having a dining room with a table big enough to seat more than four. Then I will have people over for dinner all the time. I love to cook for people but in my current situation (one bedroom apartment with tiny kitchen table, it’s not so easy. Some day. SOME DAY.

The set up:
IMG_4090

Anyway, weekend recap post time. First of all, there was a decent amount of running. I realized today that I ran Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. That brought my weekly total up to 20.5 miles. I think that’s a record for me.

3.79 miles on…Friday?
IMG_4069

A terrible 3.5 on Saturday. Late nights will do that to you.
IMG_4071

And a gloriously awesome 6 miles on Sunday early evening.
IMG_4078
I wasn’t even really planning to run Sunday but then realized that I hadn’t run more than four miles in TWO weeks so I decided to head out. I was planning to do five miles but the weather was so perfect that I just continued. I reasoned with myself that I would get a cookie or something on the way home. (See brownie at the end of this post).

I was also very pleased with my pace! I started toward East Liberty and ended up running all around Shadyside. It was nice to change up the route a little. I can’t really do that on mornings before work because I tend to get lost…and I have time constraints in the morning. I have to get to work..

Bowie is ruining my life right now.

I’m dramatic.

So moving on to the weekend. Friday night I was thinking about staying in but friend Laura mentioned that she was thinking of going to the Thunderbird for a show and I was also sort of considering it so…we decided to go.

It was a good time. There were three bands Ben Hardt and his Orchestra, Jupiter One, and Meeting of Important People. I would link to them if I actually had internet in here but I do not. Ah well. Anyway, the show was good. All three bands were good. Hanging out with friends was good. Even though I was at the bar from like 10 – 2, I only had one beer. I got home around…2:30 and was kind of wired so I didn’t go to sleep until around 3.

This didn’t bode well for my planned early morning run.

The long run didn’t happen as you already know unless you skipped the first part of this post.

I haven’t run in North Park in two weeks. I’m sad about this. I LOVE going there. love love love. I need to get out of the city more often.

Soooo Saturday afternoon, Andy came to pick me up in his father’s truck and we ventured to my Aunt Isabel and Uncle Ed’s house in Robinson. They offered me their old bed because they bought a new one. I already have a new mattress but Andy was in pretty desperate need of a real bed so he got the mattress and I got the headboard.

Uncle Ed and Andy managed to fit everything into the truck. Aunt Isabel and I observed.
IMG_4073
IMG_4074
Annnnd a few hours later we had attached the headboard to my bed, dragged the box spring, mattress and frame up to Andy’s second floor apartment and assembled everything.

Good thing I occasionally lift 8 pound weights.

I got home and took shower #2, harvested some tomatoes from my porch plant(!!) and then a friend who will remain unnamed indefinitely came over to chat and drink iced tea on the porch.
IMG_4075

I think I went to bed around 1:30 that night.

Sunday morning I was up around…okay I can’t remember at all but I did make it to church at 11:10. I’ve never been to that service before. I like it. It was crowded. I like crowded. I think my favorite one is 9:50 though. That’ll be the plan next weekend.

After church, I came home and relaxed for a while. I can’t remember exactly what I did all yesterday… Running, eating, reading, some chores. That’s about it I guess.

I’ve been on a tuna kick lately. I keep making tuna wraps:
IMG_4076

With tons of spinach:
IMG_4072

Oh I grocery shopped yesterday too. I accidentally bought cinnamon sticks instead of ground cinnamon and tried to food process them to remedy the situation.
IMG_4077
It didn’t work.

Here’s the run reward brownie:
IMG_4086
Delicious!

Thennnn work today. It was an uneventful day. It was busy and it went quickly.

Oats with puffins and peanut butter for breakfast:
IMG_4087

Banana snack in the morning.

Tuna and spinach sandwich and a bell pepper for lunch:
IMG_4088

Yogurt snack in the afternoon and then VEGETABLES for dinner.

2 zucchini, some onion, a few Brussels sprouts roasted for 30 minutes plus 2 pieces of toast.

Uncooked:
IMG_4089

My blog writing hasn’t really been flowing lately. I guess it’ll come back eventually. I realize I’m saying this at the end of a really long post but you know. yeah.

Alright that’s about it for now. I’m going to a wedding on Saturday so I’ll be out of the city at a berry farm(!) all day.

Have a nice night!

How to stuff…any roundish vegetable.

August 23, 2009

This is a round zucchini:
IMG_4057

What is a round zucchini?

A zucchini that is round.

It’s exactly the same, just a different shape.

So I got this zucchini at the farmer’s market this past Thursday. I asked the farmer’s market lady what it was and she said…a round zucchini. I asked what to do with it and she said, “stuff it” so I did. Here’s a lovely little how to for you.

Step 1:
Cut open the zucchini (or eggplant or pepper or tomato, etc)
IMG_4058

Step 2:
Scoop out the seeds and get rid of them then scoop out some of the flesh and put it in a bowl for part of the stuffing:
IMG_4059

Step 3:
Dice a whole bunch of whatever vegetables you have that might be good inside the zucchini. I used the following:

  • a carrot
  • celery
  • tomato (I think? I can’t remember)
  • onion
  • spinach
  • olive oil
    IMG_4060

    Step 4:
If you use spinach, I would recommend sauteeing with some olive oil so your stuffing mixture will actually fit in the zucchini…
    IMG_4062

    Step 5:
Put your zucchini halves in a baking pan and stuff with your stuffing mixture and then sprinkle with bread crumbs and a little more olive oil (or butter if that’s your thing):
    IMG_4063

    Step 6:
Bake at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes. (Note: I wouldn’t do this on an 80 degree day when you have no air conditioning like I did but whatever). I needed stuffed zucchini for dinner THAT NIGHT.

    Annnnnd cooked:
    IMG_4066
    IMG_4068

There you go. I hope you enjoyed my short, easy how to. I’m working on a weekend recap post that I’ll probably have up tomorrow. Get excited for that one..!

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. I did (which you will soon see). It was kind of busy but now I’m relaxing on the couch before another busy work week.

I’m enjoying thinking. I love when that happens.

    Good Evening!

  • h1

Come and open up your folding chair next to me.

    August 20, 2009

    Good Evening!

    Today went quickly.

I woke up at 5:30 AM and was out the door (in the dark) by 5:45. The run went pretty well although I was a little uncomfortable since it was so dark out still. No one harassed me though so we’re good.

The plan was 4 miles. I almost made it:
    IMG_4050
The pace was 9:15ish. I can’t remember what it was exactly. I kind of felt like I was going faster butttt no. Let’s blame the wild humidity.

I was dripping with sweat by the time I got back. I drank lots of water and had a banana then got ready for work. My shower is way too hot. I had it as cool as it could be and I was still practically sweating when I got out. Not fun.

Don’t worry, I messed with the water heater a few minutes ago. We’ll see what happens.

I had oats with peanut butter and Puffins for breakfast today and then another banana because I was still hungry.

Ohhh I wanted to mention these veggie burgers:
    IMG_4044

They’re delicious! I bought them at Trader Joe’s for $3.99 for a four pack. I suppose that’s kind of expensive but they’re way better than Morningstar Burgers.

    Here’s the box:
    IMG_4047

Not overladen with sodium like Boca Burgers (sorry for the bad picture):
    IMG_4048
That man is very serious about these burgers.

    No crazy ingredients:
    IMG_4049
I give these two thumbs up and will probably purchase them again.

Okay on to the rest of today’s eats.

After a lonnnng meeting in the morning, I was hungry.

I met Andy for lunch. I said that I wanted a sandwich so we went to Bruegger’s. We had a buy one get one coupon! I got a garden veggie sandwich on a whole wheat bagel:
    IMG_4053
    Love pickles! Seriously love.

Andy had a Leonardo Da Veggie sandwich but I really didn’t take a picture… We both also had Honest Teas.
    IMG_4054
    Good lunch!

    Yogurt snack in the PM:
    IMG_4045

And then of course I stopped at the farmer’s market on the way home.

    $3.75 bought me this:
    IMG_4056

  • 2 zucchini & bell pepper = $1
  • 3 onions = $2
  • round zucchini = $0.75

My dinner involved the round zucchini but I’ll show that experiment later…

It’s almost 8 now. I don’t really have much to say. I’m trying to decide what to do tomorrow evening. Maybe a show. Maybe not. We’ll see. I have TONS of stuff to do at work tomorrow. Yay! I love being busy and productive.

The title of the post is a Regina Spektor lyric if you’re wondering.

    Off to fold laundry!

3 articles related to vegetarianism in the PGH Post-Gazette. Whaat?

    August 20, 2009

Yes there was also a review of the Rivers Casino Buffet but still, I was pleased.

    Article #1
    Veg Out With Us
This article pulls several recipes from various new vegan/vegetarian cookbooks.

This recipe looked particularly appealing to me:
    Potato Spinach Squares
“Vegan Brunch” by Isa Chandra Moskowitz

  • 3 pounds yellow potatoes (such as Yukon Gold), cut into 3/4-inch chunks
  • 1/2 cup nutritional yeast (see note)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 16-ounce package frozen chopped spinach, thawed
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano (or 1 tablespoon dried)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (juice from 1 lemon)
  • Zest from 1 lemon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • Fresh black pepper
  • 1 1/4 cups bread crumbs, divided
  • A few pinches paprika
  • Additional fresh oregano for garnish (optional)

In a large pot, cover the potatoes in water and bring them to a boil. Once boiling, lower the heat to simmer for about 20 minutes, or until potatoes are easily pierced with a fork. Drain and place potatoes in a large mixing bowl. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Use a potato masher to mash the potatoes a bit. Add nutritional yeast and oil and continue to mash until creamy. Press the thawed spinach in a colander to remove some of the water. Combine with the potatoes. Add oregano, lemon juice, zest, salt and several dashes of pepper.

Mix in 1 cup of the bread crumbs and thoroughly combine. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.

Lightly grease a 9-by-13-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Spread potatoes in evenly, and sprinkle with 1/4 cup bread crumbs and a few pinches of paprika. Spray with cooking spray to moisten the bread crumbs. Bake for 30 minutes. The dish is ready when the top is browned and the potatoes are pulling away from the sides of the pan. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing into squares and serving, but a word to the wise: This dish tastes better the longer you let it cool. Sprinkle with fresh oregano if you like.

Note: Nutritional yeast, sometimes called “nooch,” lends a cheesy flavor to sauces and scrambles. Available in flakes or powder form, it is usually found in the bulk bins of your health food store. It is nothing like brewer’s yeast or any other kind of yeast, so don’t go replacing it.

    #2:
Book shows a middle path of eating meat but less of it
This article is a review of a new cookbook entitled “Almost Meatless” by Joy Manning and Tara Mataraza Desmond. There is an almost meatless recipe included too.

    #3
Local restaurants hope to appeal to vegans lists restaurants in the Pittsburgh area that are either vegetarian or have a lot of vegetarian options on the menu. Kind of few and far between in Pittsburgh but it’s getting better!

Alright I just thought those might be of interest to you.

Another post coming in a little while I’m thinking.

    Food Ruts.

    August 19, 2009

I’m really in kind of a food rut this week. All I feel like eating is bread and cheese. Weird. There has been a lot of sprouted grain bread with melted Swiss cheese on top.

Of course I’ve had oats for breakfast the last two days:
    IMG_4041
I’m been skipping the pumpkin this week and adding about a tablespoon of peanut butter instead. I’ve found that it keeps me full longer. I think I wasn’t getting enough fat in my breakfasts before.

I had tuna sandwiches for lunch Monday and Tuesday and today I had a veggie burger and a bell pepper for lunch.

I don’t feel like uploading the lunch pictures.

I’ve had this for dinner the last two nights:
    IMG_4039
    IMG_4040

What is it you’re wondering?? It is 1/2 an onion sauteed with some tomato, spinach, a veggie burger and egg whites. It’s surprisingly delicious. The veggie burgers are awesome! I think I’ll do a review of them coming up. I’m definitely purchasing them again.

Alright the laptop is about to die and my bread and cheese after-work snack is not holding me over. Time for some real dinner.

    Adios!

I’m thinking of some blog changes.

    August 19, 2009

So I’ve realized that I almost always focus my posts around pictures when I could occasionally just post text. Are you guys against this? Will you delete me from your google readers and never go to pamcakesandeggs.com again?

    That’s possible.

Not probable though. I mean, it takes a few clicks to delete me out of your readers plus most of my posts will still have pictures, I promise!

I just want to put a little more effort into the content of my blog. I’m going to look into posting about health and nutrition issues more and hopefully post some more food reviews and recipes.

Once I actually get the internet in my apartment, this will be MUCH easier.

So that’s about it for right now. It’s raining outside so I might not run today. Perhaps in the morning tomorrow? This whole sunrise getting later and later thing is ANNOYING when you have to be at work by 8 AM. Ah well. Soon the AM runs will be no more.
