The weekend is ending. Saddd. It’s 9 PM. I have all of my junk together to take to the gym and to work tomorrow and now I’m lying in bed about to call Aaron and update him on the past few hours. So this is just going to be a quick blog of a few interesting pieces of the weekend.
Wednesday or Thursday night Aaron and I made barbecue pizza for dinner. Heart shaped, yes. It’s a Trader Joe’s whole wheat crust, barbecue sauce, cheddar cheese, bell pepper, and tons of red onion. It was pretty good though we didn’t cook the crust long enough. You seriously need to cook these TJ’s crusts for 30 minutes before even adding toppings. I’m pretty sure it’s not even able to burn.

Thursday at work, Aaron sent me flowers!

Collective awww.

He’s a nice boy.
Friday night, MOIP had a show at the Brillobox. It was PACKED so it was super hot and I was stripping off my layers all night and still sweating. The show sold out so we were packed in there.
A not so clear picture of Aaron below. They played this song –> Single Girl/Married Girl (click to listen) by Jimmy Carter The Carter Family

Gina and Laura came!! And Jason too. Hi Gina, Laura and Jason! Ohh and Erik. I’m told he reads my blog too. Exciting!

Saturday was spent relaxing, then venturing to Robinson to use one of my Elite Runners gift certificates. That store is AMAZING. If it didn’t have to trek to the horrendousness that is Robinson, I’d probably go more often. I finally got a SPIBELT!!!! and some socks. After the joyful trip to the running store, I went to Costco to use our new membership for the first time. Thanks Mom and Dad for the membership! I wandered through the store laughing at how ridiculously big everything was. It went something like this:

I got the following:
- 10 lbs of oatmeal
- 6 pounds of frozen blueberries
- 6 red bell peppers
- 1 lb baby spinach
- 2 lbs ground cinnamon… Aaron questioned this one
- 6-12 oz cartons of egg whites
lol. I laughed the whole time I was there even though that place was a MAD HOUSE.
After Costco (and Target), I quickly exited Robinson and headed back into the city to use my Gold’s Gym membership for the last time before it expires. I did about 4 miles on the treadmill then lifted some weights then headed home. Saturday night was spent with Aaron relaxing and going to bed early.
Sunday…. Church then morrrre relaxing then I messed with this:

Add water and knead to form this:

Then make these:

!!!! Something like these will be on top of each of our wedding cupcakes. It’s experimental right now so more on this later.

Alright time to call Aaron then bed. Goodnight!
The little flowers look GREAT! Maybe Jimmy Carter will write a song about them!
I’ll admit I was slightly put off by your post title being a Carter Family song. “WHEN DID PAM GO OLD-TIME COUNTRY ON ME?!?!?” Hahahah.
I would LOVE to hear Jimmy Carter singing that song. Actually, I would love to hear Jimmy Carter singing pretty much any song.
Hey, I was at that show and I read your blog!
I went to Gold’s when I worked downtown. If you left their membership, make sure you keep all of the documentation (my cancellation did -not- go well).
I love Elite Runners & Walkers. There is also Fleet Feet Sports (near South Hills Village) if that is more convenient. I prefer Fleet Feet over SR&W.
Costco is awesome! Jared and I were there Saturday, too, it was a mad house!
That heart shaped pizza is soooo sweet. You guys are adorable!
Everything in your post sounds so familiar, b/c well, I went to PITT! Did you go there, too?
Pretty flowers! Way to go, fiance.
